This 170-seater restaurant (both indoor and outdoor) offers moderately priced for both Asian and Western cuisines in modest setting by the coast. 

Few months back, they also opened a new outlet along Alexandra Road which focuses on cafe and bistro concept.

Not only you can enjoy the cool sea breeze, having affordable food in good ambience surely makes a complete satisfaction! 

Their service is good, staffs are attentive,
 but I feel that it can be better with more smiles on their faces :)

Miso Salmon ($20.80)

These miso-glazed Norwegian Salmon Fillet looks simple yet an impressive dish :
 flavourful miso sauce, salmon served on a bed of baby bean sprouts, topped with generous amount of caviar and mesclun at the side.

The salmon is meaty however if it can be more moist, it would be perfect! 

*Flaming Pizza 12" ($23.80)

P.S. The flame has gone out!
(The staff actually poured alcohol on the pizza itself and light it up in front of you.)

Crispy Thin-Crust Pizza topped with prawns, salami, assorted mushrooms and capsicums.
It is one of the chef recommendation dish however, it is slightly disappointing because it doesn't tasted as good as I thought, the prawns were tiny and it is not as appealing.

Carbonara ($15.80)

How can we not love Carbonara?

Simple but delicate. 

Not too creamy, portion was bellyful. 

Worth trying! 

^Mini Burgers $12.80

Three burgers, triple the fun!

 (Choice of Chicken/Beef patties)

Overall, it tasted good but I prefer the beef than chicken.

Smoked Duck Salad ($8.80)

Smoked Duck + Fresh Rockets = Heavenly

Totally remarkable!  

Love the sweet orange vinaigrette dressing for the salad, the crisps of breadcrumbs and bacon bits! 

However, if could give more of the dressing and well combined, it will be awesome. 

It is a must to try! No regrets :)

Escargot ($10.80)

Baked in fragrant garlic butter with melted cheese.

Chewy and the smell of the snails were not strong. 

Not the nicest one I tried but this is good! 

*Lobster Bisque ($5.80)

It was my first time trying this and i am loving it!

Pleasant strong smell, plentiful crab lumps.
It could be better if the soup is thicker!

^Grilled Squid ($10.80)

Such a big squid!

Glazed with Teriyaki Sauce and grilled to perfection.

Buffalo Wings ($12.80)

Don't know why it is called Buffalo Wings but we got drumlets ><

But... It was unexpectedly good!

The hot sauce is uniquely different, drumlets were well marinated.

Spam Fries ($8.80)

Crispy tender snacks anytime, anywhere. 

 Nothing goes wrong when spam fries meet kaffir lime mayo sauce!

Here comes the highlight of Atmosphere Bistro...

They are well-known for their Latte Art as well as 3D Latte Art!

I actually know the manager-in-charge, Serene, few years back when we were working as  Barista under the same company. 

Over the years, she has improved tremendously and her hard work had paid off! 

Her artworks are definitely worth praising, authentic and creative!

It's more than just an ordinary coffee... 

These are some of her impressive masterpieces:

3D or draw art can be done on both Hot or Cold Drinks. 

How to order: 

Firstly, select the drinks that you want eg, Gingerbread Chocolate(Hot).
Click on "Latte Art" as shown on the above and choose the following.
Draw Art is free however 3D art you have to pay $1 more which I think is reasonable :)

If you got any special request, just let the staff or the barista know. 

And, if you are lucky to see or spot Serene, do approach/chat with her!
She would be more than willing to share her latte art experiences to you all:)

23 Jumpin - Serving specialty coffee and brunch

Finally back from a very busy schedule!
Happy to be back to blog about awesome food in Singapore!:)

Anyway, lately I heard about 23 Jumpin cafe's signature honey paprika wings and
saw a lot of instagrammers posted it which makes me want to try so badly.
Hence, to celebrate my boyfriend's sister's belated birthday, 
we decided to go to 23 Jumpin!

23 Jumpin Cafe is located at The Commerze Building, merely less than 5 minutes away from Tai Seng MRT Station. 
Exit from 'Exit A', look to your left, you will see the sign : Irving Place, follow through and you will see rows of F&B outlets.
When you see a Vespa with the number 23 on it, that's the Cafe you are looking for!

Jumpin's Ultimate Breakfast ($16)

Ready... Set... BREAKFAST!

Give your taste buds a wakeup call with fluffy scrambled eggs, juicy bratwurst sausage,
honey baked ham, creamy pasta, the bacon that tasted like "Bak Kwa" (Pork Jerky), some greens with balsamic dressing and bread.

Duck Confit ($16)

Not the best I had but it is worth trying because the meat of this duck leg was meltingly tender and moist. The skin was crispy however it is slightly burnt on the outside. The homemade mashed potato and the gravy are the real deal! 

Truffle Infused Creamy Mushroom Pasta ($15)

Life is a combination of magic and pasta.

I am a sucker for creamy pastas and I must say that this pasta was amazingly good!
The aroma, the taste was pretty awesome! The truffle is not overpowering or too heavy, it is just nice. 
I will come back for more, definitely!:)

Honey Paprika Wings ($8)

 These chicken wings tossed with sweet honey, topped with paprika and parsley flakes are to die for!!! 
Generously drizzled with honey and the best thing was, it is crunchy and easy to bite as it has only one bone in these half-cut wings.

Highly Recommended! XD

Truffle Fries ($12)

Well, truffle fries is one of the most popular cafe food in Singapore. Been searching for the nicest one. 
Although 23 Jumpin's one was nice, gave plenteous portion, however maybe a little more truffle oil, evenly distributed, it will be better.

Hot Latte ($4.50)

Finding affordable and nice coffee? 
23 Jumpin is the one you are finding!  

When you do drop by, order a latte and prepare your phone to take shots of their pretty latte art!  
...

Did not managed to order their uniquely pizza waffles which is an iconic dish in 23 Jumpin which I heard that it is good. 

But, I will try it the next time for sure!:)

Froth Cafe - The Contemporary Asian Fusion Cuisine

Finally back blogging after one month plus due to my busy schedule!

Many thanks to all of you who are reading and following my blog. :)

Well... 
Today, I will be sharing with you all hungry people about this industrial-chic style cafe which is located within the BIG Hotel, along Middle Road!



Cool huh!? A cafe located at the basement level of BIG hotel and looking mod and cozy.
It is just beside NAFA Campus 3 and opposite Sunshine Plaza.

If you are coming from Bugis MRT, it takes approximately 10 minutes walk.
Likewise, if you are coming from Bras Basah MRT, it takes around 7 minutes walk.

You will be able to see "BIG Hotel logo' from far, enter the hotel, head down the staircase and turn left and you will see the cafe!

I love the ambience, the polished cement floor and also a quiet place where you can chill or hang out with your friends or family.


So...
Here comes the food part!!!!!!!!!!!!

Froth's MENU

Doritos Crust Winglets ($11.90)

Are you someone who likes spicy? 

Someone who is a fan of Doritos? 

This starter is definitely the one you are looking for!

Not only that it is tender on the inside, it is also crispy on the outside.

And... the best thing is... IT IS BONELESS!!!
(Good for sharing)

Though it might not look as appealing, but it will absolutely be a party in your mouth!~

Seafood Tom Yum Risotto ($23.90)

What is Seafood without Tom Yum, right?
Generous potion of fresh seafood, in creamy texture, accompanied by a tinge of spiciness.

 In my personal opinion, this signature dish tops many of my other favorite dishes as it brings out the authenticity of thai food I had back in my hometown.

If you are looking for something filling, I will recommend that you go for this Tom Yum Risotto.

Moreover, if you want to try something different, you can go for this dish called :
Yuan Yang Risotto.

There are two flavours in a bowl - Truffle Mushroom & Squid Ink.

I've personally never try this dish before, but I will really come back for this delicacy!

Carbonara ($15.90)

You can never go wrong with Carbonara!

This dish provides a fine balance between creamy and milky relish.
It's a little bit dry, but in overall, it still taste good.

This classic will keep you coming back for more!

Ice Peppermint Chocolate ($5.50)

This Peppermint Chocolate is one of the nicest drink in my list.
Very well mixed and it tasted AWESOME! :)

Their coffee is most well anticipated in the cafe which means that you have to try it, although I have never try it before, however, I will surely come back for it.

For those working adults or students who are working/schooling nearby,
you can drop by Froth to have a hearty yet affordable food during lunchtime! :)
Starting from 12pm to 3pm and it is only available on weekdays!


I would highly recommend this place because
of its quality food, nice ambience and good service!

49 Seats - 3rd outlet opened at Bugis Plus!

Hi Hungry Beings!

Have you all heard about 49 seats new outlet? It is located at Bugis Plus #07-04,
the rooftop garden. 

I am just curious, why 49 seats is so popular and everyone is talking about it.

I never tried it before and two weeks back I actually wanted to make reservations however,
both outlets at Kreta Ayer Road and Orchard Central were fully booked. 

Hence, yesterday I made a trip down to the new outlet at Bugis Plus to find out what's so
good about 49 Seats.

49 Seats Main Entrance

Once I arrived at the rooftop garden at Level 7, I saw a short queue just outside and it was only 11:20 am! Glad that I made reservation and did not expect there will be queues so early. Waited for around 5-10 minutes before the restaurant officially opened.

The exterior of 49 Seats is lovely as it looks like a small cottage
with a touch of modern usage. 

The staff is friendly, allocated us to the seats, told us table number and

make orders at the cashier counter just at the right side of the entrance.

The ambience of this place is great and feels comfortable although there is no air-con and fan. It is more like an open air concept yet not feeling warm, however, there are air coolers located at the front of the entrance.
The walls are pasted all over with the food menus, food quotes were written with white chalk on black cupboards look kind of interesting.

Tom Yum Seafood ($14.90)

Calling out to all the Tom Yum Lovers, if you love Tom Yum, it's a must to try 49 Seats Signature Tom Yum Seafood Pasta!!!

My mum is Thai and she knows how to cook Tom Yum soup and other Thai delicacies.

I love Thai Food and totally a Tom Yum Lover!
Thus, I find that this pasta is incredibly awesome and having an authentic taste!
This dish can be distincted in both hot and sour with aromatic spices in it. And also,
it is not too creamy nor dry, it's just nice and flavorful. 

You can add $4.90 to any Pasta for set of additional 1 Soup of the Day and

1 soft drink.

Highly recommended!

Creamy Smoked Duck ($14.90)

Fans of cream-based and smoked duck? Yes?

You can have the best of both worlds!

A generous portion of smoked duck with white creamy sauce definitely satisfy your
taste buds. 

It is not overly creamy or tasted bland. 

However, I personally feel that if they could add slightly more sauce to avoid the
cooked pasta soaking up the sauce if you do not consume it fast or when it turns cold.

Cheese Fries ($7.90)

Bad days are best forgotten over french fries, agree?

A basket full of shoestring fries, topped with cheese, mayonnaise and garnished with chives just simply finger licking good.
The cheese and mayonnaise was served chilled and together with the
fresh-tasting fries = HEAVENLY

Sorry but it is better than KFC Cheese Fries, as the cheese is not too cheesy but just right.
Worth trying!

Not only they served pastas, but also main courses like their signature Fish and Chips
with Al Scampi (shrimp or prawn in Italian word) or Tom Yum Sauce and also classic sandwiches.
Moreover, they also have desserts like Banana Split and Waffles with Ice Cream ( Waffles with ice cream is currently not available at Bugis Plus Outlet).
